I think the results are pretty good, especially considering that you can scale the detail.&nbsp; In other words, I can spend more time putting in more detail in the fruitlet mesh to get a better overall raspberry result.&nbsp; I\u2019d love to see your results.&nbsp; Post on Twitter or Instagram and tag me so I can check it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The raspberry object in the .blend file is \u201cslightly\u201d different from the version shown in the video.&nbsp; Specifically, the sample raspberry contains an additional material for the \u201cinside\u201d of the raspberry.&nbsp; To keep the video length reasonable, I\u2019ve omitted that part.&nbsp; If you are not showing the inside, you don\u2019t have to worry about it at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cgtrader.com\/free-3d-models\/food\/fruit\/raspberries-in-blender-v1-tutorial-files\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.cgtrader.com\/free-3d-models\/food\/fruit\/raspberries-in-blender-v1-tutorial-files\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Download it here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Retrospective<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I feel that I\u2019m not getting the most of the shader setup and I\u2019ll admit, I\u2019m not 100% satisfied with the result.  While it does look ok, I think it could be better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>For the material portion, I had to try a lot of combinations without fully understanding why it rendered the way it did.&nbsp; I feel that once I get a better grasp of the subsurface settings, I can do some fine tuning.<\/li><li>The material is very finicky to the lighting conditions of the scene. With tweaking, they look pretty realistic and far better than any other fully procedural raspberries I\u2019ve seen online.
